Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for laying a ridge sheet, equipped with a furrow opener for making a furrow at an edge of a ridge, a sheet drum, a direction changing roller, etc., capable of surely sticking a sheet to the side of a ridge and automatically laying the sheet.
CONSTITUTION: This device for laying a ridge sheet is equipped with a furrow opener 7 for making a furrow 3 at an edge of a ridge, a sheet drum 8 for supporting a sheet 4 in a wound state and a direction changing roller 5 for guiding the sheet 4 successively drawn out from a sheet winding part 4A in the sheet drum 8 downward so as to spread the sheet along the side of the ridge. The device is further provided with a pressing roller 6 which lays the thin laminar sheet 4 along the side of the ridge after passing of the direction changing roller 5 and pushes the sheet downward and a forcing means 9 for driving the direction changing roller 5 and the pressing roller 6 to the side of the ridge.
