METHOD FOR LINING INSIDE OF PIPE WITH RESIN AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To apply a lining having the high strength of a coating film, excellent corrosion preventive function and smooth surface by uniformly spraying the lining material of resin powder compounded with a filler, then uniformly spraying the resin powder without contg. the filler simultaneously with the start of melting the resin and cooling the lining after the melting.
CONSTITUTION: A cast iron pipe 1 is placed on a turn table 2 and is rotated and hot wind is blown to this pipe to the pipe. For example, high-density polyethylene resin heat powder, low-density polyethylene resin powder, ionomer resin or resin powder compounded with silica sand powder as the filler is supplied to a trough 2A and the resin powder consisting of, for example, the high-density polyethylene resin powder alone is supplied into the other trough 2B. These troughs are introduced into the heated metallic pipe 1. The trough 2A is inverted to supply the resin powder compounded with the filler and to uniformly spread the resin powder to the inside surface of the pipe; thereafter, the other trough 2B is inverted to supply the resin powder. The troughs are thereafter retreated and the metallic pipe 1 is kept rotated as it is. The pipe is slowly cooled in this state to cure the coating film.
