To provide a method of manufacturing an anti-glare film for preventing visual confirmation performance from being reduced due to its whitening while showing superior anti-glare performance and achieving high contrast without causing glare even when applying this film to an image display displaying highly precise images, and to provide a method of manufacturing a metallic mold being favorably used in the method of manufacturing the anti-glare film.
The method of manufacturing the anti-glare film includes a step of computing a micro phase separation structure of block copolymer composed of two or more segments by calculating machine simulation by using this block copolymer as a model, a step of creating a micro phase separation pattern showing a maximal value so far as energy spectrum is in a scope of space frequency of 0.025 to 0.125 μm-1 based on themicro phase separation structure, and a step of forming a surface having irregularities on a transparent basic material by using the micro phase separation pattern. The method of manufacturing the metallic mold being favorably used in this method of manufacturing the anti-glare film is also provided.
