To provide a method for manufacturing a battery pack which is capable of improving the reliability of electrical connection between a core block and an external terminal while inhibiting the growth in size of a battery pack and a reduction in working efficiency.
A method for manufacturing a battery pack comprises: a core block preparing step to prepare a core block 10 having a first lead plate 12 whose one part is extending outward; a case preparing step to prepare a case 21 that houses the core block 10; a bus bar preparing step to prepare a bus bar part 32; a storing step to store the core block 10 in the case 21 so that the first lead plate 12 extends outward from an opening 211; a mounting step to mount a laminate sheet part 323 on a core block body 11 so that an exposed end part 321c overlaps with an extension part 12a in the direction of thickness; a bonding step to bond the extension part 12a and the exposed end part 321c together at a portion where they overlap each other; and a bending step to bend the bonded extension part 12a and exposed end part 321c.
