In the method of manufacturing the cold-rolled steel sheet having predetermined size by cold-rolling the steel sheets 1 after hot rolling after pickling them, while a pair of upper and lower circular rotary blades 10A, 11A, 10B, 11B are pressed against the edge parts of the steel sheets 1 before cold rolling to a predetermined depth from the upper and lower parts, shearing is applied to the edge parts until becoming in an unseparated state and, next, after the edge parts 1A, 1B are cut off by clamping the edge parts with narrow width rolls 14A, 14B 13 which are installed in the respective edge parts and with which only the edge parts are clamped, the cold rolling is applied at the total draft of 30%.
