To provide a method of manufacturing a fine-shape transfer sheet which comprises pressing a sheet-like resin base material toward a mold having fine irregularities formed on the surface, wherein no stripping trace of the mold is left on the surface of the fine-shape transfer sheet.

The method of manufacturing the fine-shape transfer sheet comprises the processes of: supplying the sheet-like resin base material onto the surface of the mold having fine irregularities formed on the surface; pressing the sheet-like resin base material toward the mold to transfer the fine irregularities of the mold to the surface of the sheet-like resin base material; and releasing the pressing pressure, under which the sheet-like resin base material is pressed toward the mold, while adhering edges of areas of the sheet-like resin base material, where the fine irregularities are transferred, to the mold.
