Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a modified conjugated diene rubber capable of providing a rubber crosslinked article high in tensile strength and excellent in low heat generation property and operation stability.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a modified conjugated diene rubber having a first process for polymerizing a monomer containing at least a conjugated diene compound by using an alkali metal aromatic compound having 2 carbon atoms directly bound to an alkali metal atom and an aromatic ring in a molecule as a polymerization initiator to obtain a conjugated diene rubber having an active terminal, a second process for conducting a coupling reaction of the conjugated diene rubber having the active terminal by using a 2-functional coupling agent having at least one protective group of a hydroxyl group in a molecule, and a third process for reacting a modifier having one atom capable of reaction with the active terminal or one reaction group in a molecule with the active terminal of the conjugated diene rubber on which the coupling reaction is conducted to obtain the modified conjugated diene rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
