To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a multi-layer molded article with good appearance without restricting thickness and with hardly generating a weld-mark on the surface by using an ordinary injection molding machine.

The method for manufacturing the multi-layer molded article comprises flame-spraying an at least partly melted resin powder toward the inner face of a mold under a condition where the mold for injection molding is opened to form a resin layer on the inner face of the mold, closing the mold and injecting a molten resin into a cavity formed there. The mold is preferably provided with a heating means and a cooling means, and the mold into which the resin powder is flame-sprayed is preferably adjusted at a temperature of at least softening point and of at most melting point of the resin powder. This method is suitable for manufacturing a two-color molded article.
