Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing an optical device that is small and with high reliability by joining optical elements with each other without using an organic adhesive.
In this method for manufacturing an optical device by joining the optical devices with each other without using the adhesive, respective joint surfaces of the optical elements are subjected at least to polishing, cleaning and hydrophilization processing, the optical elements are then stuck together to each other on the joint surfaces, and subsequently by performing heat treatment, the optical elements are joined together with each other. The optical elements are stuck to each other while the optical elements are heated, and are then subjected to heat treatment.
