Abstract:
To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor having high adhesion to sealing resin.SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic capacitor 1 includes: a resin molded body 150 having an element laminate 100, an insulating substrate 30, and sealing resin for sealing a periphery of the element laminate; and first and second external electrodes 161 and 162 provided on first and second end faces E101 and E102 of the resin molded body, respectively. In the element laminate, a valve action metal substrate 11 having a dielectric layer 12 on a surface and a metal foil 21 are alternately laminated via a solid electrolyte layer 13, and an insulating substrate is arranged on one main surface of the element laminate. Sealing portions of the metal foil and the valve action metal substrate are exposed on the first and second end faces of the resin molded body, respectively, and connected to the first and second external electrodes. Notches are provided at the end of the second end face side of the valve action metal substrate and the end of the first end face side of the metal foil, respectively. A notch is also provided in the insulating substrate so as to communicate with the notches. The notch is sealed with the sealing resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
