Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing a stamper used for manufacturing microneedle sheets having microneedles of desired shapes.

An original plate 10a including a sheet-like base material 2 and projections 12a is heated at a first predetermined temperature. The projections 12a of the original plate 10a are inserted into the base material 2 in a predetermined period of time. Conical pierced recesses 3a having openings at tips are formed so as to extend from a first surface St of the base material to a second surface Sb opposite to the first surface St by being tapered by a predetermined length. The original plate 10a and the base material 2 are cooled to a second predetermined temperature which is lower than the first predetermined temperature. After cooling the original plate and the base material, the original plate 10a is released from the matrix 2.
