To solve the problems with a gravure printing apparatus, wherein the apparatus has such as dirt by printing splashing of ink, or entry of contamination due to drying of ink remaining on a plate.
The gravure printing apparatus is provided with an ink splashing preventing film on a delivery side of a printing base material of a printing unit part. The ink splashing preventing film is transparent or a translucent, and has a thickness of 25-100 μm, and almost the same width with a gravure roll, and is extended to the outside of an outer frame of an ink pan in a length covering from a part above a circumferential upper part of the gravure roll to a part under a circumferential lower part apart from a circumferential outer surface of the gravure roll by 10-25 cm.
