PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to prevent causing distortions or cracks to cylindrical cosmetic portions just below an engagingly protruded ling, under a method of manufacturing cylindrical cosmetics which are formed by cooling and solidifying molten cosmetic materials flowed into the cylindrical receptacle and a mold cover having a bottom, of which the upper section is fixed to the lower side peripheral section of the cylindrical receptacle that is annexed on an inner face with the engagingly protruded ling for preventing the stick-like cosmetics from slipping off.
SOLUTION: The cylindrical receptacle 1 comprises a smaller diameter of cylindrical body 2 which has a hollow groove 2a at a longitudinally middle section of the inner face of it and has openings to both upper and lower ends of it, and a slidable ling 4 which is fitted in movably by pressing upward inside the hollow groove 2a and of which the inner face is functioned as the engagingly protruded ling 4a. By cooling and contraction at the time when the molten cosmetic materials solidify in the smaller diameter of cylindrical body 2 and in the mold cover 5, the slidable ling 4 is made descend with respect to the smaller diameter of cylindrical body 2 and is made move to lower section inside the hollow groove 2a, and the stick-like cosmetic with the cylindrical casing is formed.
