PURPOSE: To improve the positioning accuracy of a head and a fact extremely controlling at least one of the position and the speed of a head part by a full close loop and driving by two belts at the same period in the case of the drive of a movable head part in X, Y directions.
CONSTITUTION: A chip part sucking and mounting head 20 for mounting a chip part on a base plate is slid freely along a straitly moving bearing rail on a sub-shaft unit 22 and is moved freely in X direction by fixing on the belt 25 put in turning movement by a sub-shaft drive motor 24. Both ends of the sub-shaft unit 22 are supported slidably on the straitly moving guide bearings 28, 28' and moved freely in Y direction through a sub-shaft drive connection plate 29, 29' by the motion of the belt 30, 30' put in turning movement by a main shaft drive servo-motor 31, 31'. Linear encoders 35, 35' are installed in the side parts of a main shaft base part and respective servo motors 31, 31' are controlled by a full close loop based on their output.
