To mold a hollow contour strand of an elastomer so that the elastic deformation capacity of a hollow contour is held even at a re-molded place.
When a frame like hollow contour strand is extruded to the surface of a glass plate 1, the transition region between the start and terminal of the extruded strand is re-molded by using an injection mold 13. The part irregularly molded at the re-molding place is mechanically removed at first. Thereafter, a wax core is pushed in the hollow space of two mutually adacent end parts of the hollow contour strand. Subsequently, the inection mold 13 is placed at a predetermined place and a cured elastomer is injected to completed the hollow contour strand at this place. Thereafter, the part of the completed hollow contour strand is heated to such a degree that the core is melted and wax is distributed on the bottom of the hollow space 5 as a layer.
