To provide a method for packaging a food, capable of uniformly packaging solid and liquid components of the food into a packaging container, capable of reducing labor cost, and capable of increasing production efficiency, by tentatively giving viscosity to the food in such a form that the solid and liquid components are mixed, filling the packaging container with the food by an automatized machine, and removing the viscosity of the food.
This method for packaging the food comprises packaging such a food that a broth of the food including solid ingredients has no viscosity or the viscosity of the food is low, wherein the method has a viscosity-giving step for adding a viscous material to the food to make the food have the viscosity, a filling step for filling the packaging container with the food made to have the viscosity through the viscosity-giving step together with an enzyme for degrading the viscous material, a sealing step for sealing the packaging container given through the filling step and filled with contents of the food, a viscosity-removing step for removing the viscosity of the contents by activating the enzyme in the packaging container, and a deactivating step for deactivating the enzyme contained in the packaging container given through the viscosity-removing step.
