PURPOSE: To automatically and effectively pack articles having a returning ability, by holding with pressure an article from the outside of a bag by a holding and pressing means pulling out a pressing means to the outside of the bag after inserting the article to be packed into the bag.
CONSTITUTION: After a urine-conducting pack 1 and a pressing plate 3 are inserted in a packing bag 5, a chuck 12 is positioned near the packing bag 5 and a pinch claw 12a is closed. A rectangular notch 3a is formed at the lower edges of both pressing plates 3 pinching the urine-conducting pack 1 and the pinch claw 12a pinches only the urine-conducting pack 1 to be packed via the notch 3a but does not pinch the pressing plate 3. Thereafter, detaching means is actuated to separate the pressing plate 3 from a packing bag 5. Since the urine-conducting pack 1 is pinched with pressure by the chuck 12, only the pressing plate 3 is removed to the outside of the packing bag 5. In this way, when the pressing plate 3 is removed, the urine-conducting pack 1 is released from the condition that the returning is inhibited and at that time it returns to the originate state due to the elastic force.
