Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing asparagusic acid that suppresses the formation of polymers and is stable even when stored for a long time.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing asparagusic acid by oxidizing dihydro asparagusic acid using dimethyl sulfoxide, wherein, a reaction solution comprising asparagusic acid is subjected to liquid separation, recovering an organic layer, and then, a water-miscible organic solvent and water are sequentially subjected to solvent displacement before lyophilized.SELECTED DRAWING: None
