Abstract:

To provide a method for preparing undifferentiated cells from more restricted cells.

This method of increasing the relative number of CD34+cells in a cell population including restricted cells comprises (i) bringing the cell population into contact with an agent that operably adheres the restricted cells, wherein the agent is preferably cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), a CD4 or CD8 molecule, at least a part of a T-cell receptor, a ligand (immobilized or released), a peptide, a T-cell receptor (TCR), or an antibody (monoclonal, polyclonal or cross-reactive), and (ii) incubating the restricted cells that are adhered by the agent such that the relative number of CD34+cells increases as a result of the adhesion.
