Abstract:

To provide a method for printing a metal-tone printed matter, capable of highly precise and shiny printing without making the metal color of the printed mater printed with metallic ink dull.

In a printing step, a metallic ink including aluminum particles dispersed in a solvent is printed onto a transfer material 1 having a flat printing surface to form a metallic ink layer 2 including a metal layer 2a in which the aluminum particles have been deposited on the printing surface side, and then the transfer material 1 is reversed to transfer the flat metal layer 2a side as a display surface to a transfer object material 4.
