To make it possible to degrade the yellowing of a silver halide color photographing material processed by a heat treatment by subjecting this material to color processing in a soln. contg. the ions of at least one kind of group III metals.
This method includes the processing of the color material subjected to the color processing in the soln. contg. the ions of at least one kind of the group III metals in the color processing of the photographic silver halide color material including different spectral photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers. This processing is executed in the soln. contg. the ions of at least one kind of the metals selected from a group preferably consisting of Al, Ga and In. The processing is executed in the soln. contg. the Al3+ ions generate from a single salt or salt mixture. The soln. contg. the metal ions contains these ions at the concn. of at 0.01 to 1mol/l, more preferably 0.05 to 0.5mol/l and further, preferably 0.05 to 0.2mol/l.
