Title:
METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3310089
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable processing superior on stability even in the case of using a small amount of rinse water or a stabilizing solution or even at a not busy time and processing restrained from sulfurization by using the rinse water or the stabilizing solution containing chlorine dioxide and thiosulfate.
CONSTITUTION: The imagewise-exposed photosensitive material is subjected to development processing and at that time, the rinse water or the stabilizing solution containing the chlorine dioxide and the thiosulfate of 1×10-4 to 1mol/l. As the chlorine dioxide, the one on the market may be used, but since this compound itself is generally instable, it is preferred to use the one stabilized with various kinds of inorganic salts, such as boric acid, or a stabilizer, and activity is enhanced in the presence of a small amount of thiosulfate, thus permitting the solfurization of the processing solution to be retarded and disinfection effect to be amplified.
