Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an industrially suitable 3-substituted anthranyl derivative, by which the 3-substituted anthranyl derivative is produced from a nitrobenzene derivative by a simple method in a high yield.
This method for producing the 3-substituted anthranyl derivative represented by formula (2) comprises subjecting the nitrobenzene derivative represented by formula (1) (R1 and R2 are each the same or different and an alkoxycarbonyl group, a cycloalkoxycarbonyl group, an aralkyloxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group or cyano group; X is hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkyl group; R3 and R1 or R2 are identical; X is as shown above) to cyclization reaction in an aprotic polar solvent.
