Abstract:
To provide a production method comprising oxidizing an alkylbenzene as a starting material with an oxygen-containing gas and being highly effective to obtain an alkylbenzene hydroperoxide in high yields.
An alkylbenzene hydroperoxide is produced by oxidizing with an oxygen-containing gas a starting material containing an alkylbenzene and hydrogen peroxide and/or methyl hydroperoxide as peroxides other than the alkylbenzene hydroperoxide.
