Abstract:

To provide a method capable of producing a corresponding amine compound with high yield and high selectivity by deoxidizing an amide compound in a mild condition.

The method for producing amine comprises deoxidizing amide in the presence of a surface metal-immobilized catalyst having gold nanoparticles immobilized on the surface of a carrier to obtain the corresponding amine. As the carrier, hydroxyapatite can be preferably used. As the silane compound, dimethylphenyl silane, 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane or the like can be used.
