To provide a method for obtaining a dried product both surfaces of which are sufficiently dried by releasing a vinylpyrrolidone-based polymer without using a scraper.
The method for producing the dried product of a vinylpyrrolidone-based polymer includes a process for applying a solution comprising a vinylpyrrolidone-based polymer having 60 K value and 5,000-100,000mPa s viscosity at 25C and water on a heat conductive surface of a drum dryer, subsequently peeling off the applied material. As a drum dryer used in the method, uses is made of a dryer in which a release agent is applied to the heat conductive surface or the heat conductive surface is formed with a fluorine-based resin and the dried product is pressed to the heat conductive surface, subsequently it is peeled off.
