Abstract:

To provide a method for producing an olefin polymer exhibiting less fuming on molding process.

This method for producing the olefin polymer using a high pressure process is provided by using an oil containing ≤55 wt.% content of a component having 300-1,000 molecular weight as a lubricating oil of a compressor, and by filling 0.02-0.7 wt.% amount of the lubricating oil into the compressor based on the amount of the olefin polymer. Also, the high pressure process is a high pressure ionic polymerization method.
