Abstract:
To provide a method for producing phosphatidylinositol which is useful for foods, or the like, has superior safety, and high production efficiency.
The method for producing phosphatidylinositol includes (a) a process for making phospholipids containing phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine dissolved or dispersed, in a medium and for providing a solution or a dispersion; (b) a process for adding phospholipase D to the solution or the dispersion and carrying out the decomposition reaction or the transformation reaction of phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine; and (c) a process for separating and purifying phosphatidylinositol from the solution or the dispersion.
