Abstract:
To provide a method for removing fully a hydrogenation catalyst in a short time from a solution of polymer containing an alicyclic structure which contains the catalyst and to produce a polymer containing the alicyclic structure which has few impurities.
The method for producing the polymer has a step wherein the catalyst is removed by the centrifugalization from a reactive solution containing the polymer and the catalyst and a step wherein the residual catalyst in the solution after the centrifugalization is removed by the filtration.
