To provide a method for producing a retreaded tire which can make even a base tire having a big trauma reusable as a foam-packed retreaded tire and simplify a vulcanization process and the retreaded tire.

A filler which is foamed by heating is injected into a base tire, and a rim is fitted to the tire. After the tread part of the base tire is buffed, a pre-cure tread is arranged on the whole buffed surface through cushioning rubber. A restraining member is arranged on the peripheral surface of the tire to constrain it. The tire is heated to expand the filler, and the pre-cure tread is vulcanization-adhered to the base tire.
