Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a short-fiber anion-modified cellulose fiber in an inexpensive and simple manner; and provide a method for producing a modified cellulose fiber, using the short-fiber anion-modified cellulose fiber obtained by the production method, and a method for producing a fine cellulose fiber using the same.SOLUTION: A method for producing a short-fiber anion-modified cellulose fiber includes a step for cutting a carbohydrate chain of an anion-modified cellulose fiber in a solvent containing an organic acid, wherein, the short-fiber anion-modified cellulose fiber herein has an average fiber length of 1 μm or more and 500 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
