Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for producing a silazane compound useful as a paint additive, a polymer modifying agent, and a synthetic intermediate of pharmaceuticals or agricultural products.SOLUTION: The method for producing the silazane compound comprises a step of reacting a halosilane compound, which is shown by RSiX(in which Rare the same or different from one another and each thereof is a hydrogen atom or a 1-20C substituted or unsubstituted univalent hydrocarbon group; X is a halogen atom; n is an integer of 0-3 and when n is 2 or 3, it does not matter if Rare bonded to one another to form a 2-20C ring together with Si bonded to them), with RRNH (in which Rand Rare each a hydrogen atom or a 1-20C substituted or unsubstituted univalent hydrocarbon group), or an amino group-containing compound shown by formula (3) (in which Ris a 1-20C bivalent organic group containing a heteroatom optionally) while using the silazane compound being an objective product as a solvent.
