Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-absorbing resin crosslinking agent that has an excellent safety property, can efficiently crosslink water-absorbing resin at a low-temperature and produce an absorbent having high water-absorption capability, and to provide the absorbent obtained by crosslinking a water-absorbing resin with the water-absorbing resin crosslinking agent.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-absorbing resin crosslinking agent containing halohydrin compound having [A] and [B] in the molecule. [A] a halohydrin group represented by formula (1), [B] an amide bond and/or an ester bond. (A is a single bond or an alkylene group; Ris H or an alkyl group; X is Cl or Br.)
