Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering dysprosium capable of recovering dysprosium at high purity and also at a high yield from the inside of the same system added with raw material including dysprosium by a simple process.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for recovering dysprosium including: a molten salt production step of melting a mixed salt obtained by adding dysprosium halide to lithium halide to produce a molten salt; an addition step of adding raw material including metal dysprosium to the molten salt; and an electrolysis step of electrolyzing the molten salt after the addition step and electrodepositing metal dysprosium on the cathode.
