PURPOSE: To enable anyone to easily execute repairing work without disturbing a tire by arranging a vulcanized rubber block on the outer periphery of the side wall to be repaired of the outside of a vehicle.

CONSTITUTION: A method for repairing the side wall 6 of a tire P having a radial carcass 1 comprises three stages so as to prepare an area to be repaired, to attach a rubbery material to the repairing area through an unvulcanized adhesive rubber 10 and to vulcanize the unvulcanized adhesive rubber 10. These three stages are executed to the tire P mounted on a vehicle and expanded up to use pressure. The attachment of rubbery material is performed by at least four vulcanized rubber blocks 11 and these blocks 11 are arranged on the outer periphery of the side wall 6 to be repaired of the outside of the vehicle. The blocks 11 can be also arranged so as to form gaps between the mutual blocks.
