Abstract:
To replace bobbins at high efficiency without impairing the performance of a filament.
In the operation of replacing a full-loaded take-up bobbin 4a with an empty take-up bobbin 4b in a turret type filament winder, a take-up bobbin having a cutout groove extending from the peripheral edge to a take-up shaft in one of both-side flanges of the take-up shaft of the take-up bobbin is used. When replacing the full-loaded take-up bobbin with an empty take-up bobbin, for the empty take-up bobbin reaching the take-up device while rotating, a thread guard device 8c positioned at a cutting part for a filament 6 to execute the operation, a cutter and a filament tension relaxing means 13 are provided outside the cutout groove of the flange.
