PURPOSE: To reduce manufacturing process and a working time by setting the width direction of a material to be worked alternately horizontally and vertically, pressing it upwards and downwards and forming it into an asymmetric steel being a final product in a horizontal state at the final stage.
CONSTITUTION: In a heated state, at a 1st stage the steel material is pressed with its width direction horizontal to a little reduce its thickness. Then, at a 2nd stage the steel material is pressed with its width direction vertical, the lower surface of the steel material is worked in a curved surface shape and controlled for the final product in a width direction. Then, at a 3rd stage the steel material is pressed with its width direction horizontal to reduce its thick ness. At a 4th stage the steel material is pressed with the curved surface part downwards which was formed at the 2nd stage, to mainly adjust its width direction and its curved surface part. Then, at a 5th stage the steel material is set horizontally and pressed by a roll having a caliber in accordance with the shape of the asymmetric flat steel. The product obtained is made into the asymmetric flat steel of the final product as it is.
