Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate deep drilling below an unstable foundation so as to enhance economy by charging a screening agent into a foundation unstable part of the bottom surface of a hole which is broken due to drilling in an unstable foundation, so as to set fragments of thus broken foundation.
CONSTITUTION: During examination of the foundation, if a foundation unstable part is present on the bottom surface Y of a hole, due to drilling into an unstable foundation, a screening agent 3 is charged into the hole bottom surface Y. In this case, the screening agent 3 such as bentonite cement which is formed into a ball-like shape by suitably kneading is used in accordance with a behavior of the foundation so as to set fragments and slime of a broken foundation. Further, in the case of an originally non-water retaining condition, the bottom of the broken foundation can be conveniently screened. Accordingly, the hole bottom surface Y is turned into a stable foundation condition, and accordingly, sufficiently deep drilling can be made even for a part below an unstable foundation, thereby it is possible to obtain a sample having a good quality with less disturbance.
