Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a trouble of breakage of a repairing device due to contact with a structure near a setting area when the repairing device for repairing the inner wall of a lower head of a pressure vessel is installed and to improve the efficiency of setting work.
SOLUTION: When the inner wall of a lower head 1a of a pressure vessel 1 is repaired, a guide pipe 11 vertically extending below the vessel 1 is brought in. An upper end of the pipes 11 is inserted into an inspection hole 6 of the head 1a so as to be fixed therein. A repairing unit 7 provided at the upper end of a power transmission rod 9 of a repairing device 10 is inserted into the pipe 11 and pushed up through the pipe 11 so as to be set inside the head 1a. The unit 7 is positioned with reference to the pipe 11.
