Abstract:

To provide a method of sterilization inside a treatment tank in a waste drying treatment device for easily and securely performing the sterilization treatment inside the treatment tank after the dried/reduced waste is taken out.

The waste in the treatment tank 1 is dried/reduced by heating and decompressing the inside of the treatment tank 1 storing the waste, and the treated waste is discharged from the treatment tank 1. After that, air, which is an obstacle in the sterilization inside the treatment tank 1, is removed while the outside of the treatment tank 1 is heated at a sterilization temperature or higher, then the inside of the treatment tank 1 is compressed by steam to a prescribed pressure to achieve the sterilization temperature and heated at high temperature for a prescribed period of time.
