Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for providing non-stop fare charging processing to on-vehicle equipment by using radio communication between a read and a car.
SOLUTION: A plurality of pieces of road side radio equipment are provided on the road side of an entrance side in a fare charging target area 5, and one of road side radio equipment 1 to perform radio communication with the on- vehicle equipment transmits the peculiar information of the on-vehicle equipment acquired from the on-vehicle equipment to other road side radio equipment 2 positioned at the back of the road side radio equipment 1 in the advancing direction. In the other road side radio equipment 2, it is decided whether the peculiar information of the on-vehicle equipment acquired from the on-vehicle equipment is matched with the peculiar information of on-vehicle equipment transmitted from the one of road side radio equipment 1 or not and only when deciding that it is an approach to the fare charging target area 5, control is executed so that charging of a fare to the on-vehicle equipment can be performed.
