To provide a rolling system which admits a strip storing means in a small length along a passage line.
The rolling system has a first winder 21 to be used for unwinding the strip 18, a rolling stand in which at least two working rollers 13 and 14 are included and a roller gap 17 of which width is controllable or adjustable is formed between the working rollers 13 and 14, and a second winder 31 for winding the strip 18 reduced to a specified thickness at the strip outlet. The rolling system has also a first strip storing means 23 comprising a plurality of rollers between the first winder 21 and the rolling stand 12, and a second strip storing means 33 comprising a plurality of rollers between the rolling stand 12 and the second winder 31. At least one of the strip storing means 23 and 33 is composed of a duplex roller body structure in which the strip is wound around two rollers 24 and 25 or 34 and 35 in the shape of S. The rollers 24 and 25 or 34 and 35 are arranged at different levels.
