Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of end breakage of yarn, fluff, etc., by extremely relaxing winding tension at bobbin through a winding tension control device and winding a fragile yarn bundle round the bobbin.
CONSTITUTION: A fragile yarn bundle, preferably a pitch yarn bundle obtained by spinning carbonaceous pitch or an infusible yarn bundle obtained by subjecting the pitch yarn bundle to infusible treatment is wound round a bobbin through a tension control device which makes winding tension at the bobbin ≤50%, preferably ≤30% based on total winding tension to prevent damage of the yarn. The winding tension control device is preferably air sucker, godet roll and/or dancer roller device.
