Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain inexpensive nonwoven fabric readily decomposable with microorganisms, having excellent air permeability and flexibility.
CONSTITUTION: Nonwoven fabric comprises extra fine yarn consisting of polyε- caprolactone and/or poly-β-propiolactone and having <0.8 denier fineness of single yarn. Web comprising the extra fine yarn is laminated to web comprising other yarn to form nonwoven fabric. The web comprising the extra fine yarn is obtained by melting and extruding a polymer from a die, removing a sucking air flow by a baffle plate, blowing cooling air on the side of the molten and extruded material, cooling the material and making the material into web.
