Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily fit laser illumination to various different microscope bases without any restriction from the point of a conventional application and to remove the damage of the eyes of an observer viewing an ocular in a microscope using laser illumination and other illumination beams harmful to the eyes.
CONSTITUTION: The mirror base 1, an ocular tube 3 arranged in front 2 of the mirror base 1, a spider 9 or a revolver are provided. At least one beam splitter and a mirror 10 is arranged in the slider 9 or the revolver for deflecting a reflected light beam path 18 in the direction of an objective lens 5. A laser beam or the other beams harmful for the eyes are inputted and connected to the reflected light beam path 18 provided for conventional illumination from the back face 11 facing the front face 2.
