PURPOSE: To prevent a different material from remaining and to cope with an operator's error by providing control means for stopping a sequential operation command if at least one of level sensing means and material-to-be-dried sensing means senses when a start button is pressed and informing it by informing means.
CONSTITUTION: When a start key 39 of an operation unit 24 is pressed, a controller 25 starts to drive a motor 14 to rotate an agitating blade 15. Then, whether material 5 to be dried exists in a drying chamber 3, a spare tank 22 is sensed, and, if not, a material conveying step for supplying the material 5 into the chamber 3 is started. If the material 5 remains in the chamber 3 or the tank 22, the remainder of the material 5 is informed by an alarm 41. Thereafter, an alarm release key 40 is pressed to release the operation of the alarm 41, and it is waited until the key 39 is pressed. According to this drier, since products of materials to be dried, previously used of the products are not mixed but processed, highly reliable drier can be provided.
