Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave shielding structure which is possessed of a high shielding effect, easily manufactured and installed, high in profitability, and suitable for mass production. SOLUTION: A microwave shielding structure includes a board member equipped with a dielectric layer 36 which supports a microwave circuit and a conductive layer 38 formed on the back side of the dielectric layer 36 and a molded core member 40 has an upper surface 44, a lower surface 42, and a peripheral wall 46. The core member 40 has the lower surface 42 adjoining to the dielectric layer 36 and the peripheral wall 46 which is partially adjoining to a microwave circuit. A first conductive thin film is formed covering the peripheral wall 46, and a second conductive thin film is formed between the underside of the core member 40 and the dielectric layer 36, the second conductive thin film and the conductive layer 38 form a parallel plate conductor, one or more paths 76 which connect the second conductive thin film to the dielectric layer 36 are formed on the dielectric layer 36, and the path 76 forms an air insulator post which intersects the parallel plate conductor to stop microwaves from leaking from the parallel plate conductor.
