To make a vessel detector not actuated to make the power source of a mixer not turned on, since the interlock with the power source is not released even when a cup stand is laid as a single body on the main body, by equipping the vessel detector actuated by a cutter stand for releasing the interlock with the power source.
The vessel of this mixer is constituted of a cutter stand 15 which rotatably and pivotally supports a cutter 13 and a follower connecter 14, and a cup 17 made of glass or resin which sandwiches a packing 16 together with the cutter stand 15 and is detachably attached screwed into the cup stand. A vessel detector 18 is pushed down by a ring rib 19 disposed on the cutter stand 15 when the vessel is laid on the main body 9 to release the interlock with the power source built in the main body 9. In this mixer constituted in such a manner, even when the cup stand 11 is laid on a protrusion part 10 on the main body 9, the vessel detector is not actuated causing not turning the power source. Accordingly operation by only the cup stand single body can be prevented.
