Abstract:
To provide a modified polyethylene composition for a highly transparent adhesive sheet useful as a sealing material for a solar cell module that can obtain a sufficient adhesive strength even in the case of adhesion at a low temperature and in a short time, is excellent in heat resistance and can prevent deviation of a photoelectric conversion layer at a high temperature.SOLUTION: The modified polyethylene composition for an adhesive sheet contains a modified polyethylene produced by graft-modifying component (A) and component (B) as given below with an unsaturated silane compound. A sheet molded article with a thickness of 2 mm formed from the modified polyethylene composition has a total light transmittance of 85% or more. (A): polyethylene having a melt flow rate (MFR) of 10 g/10 min or more as measured under the condition of 190°C and a load of 2.16 kg in accordance with JIS K7210(1999) and (B): polyethylene having an extrapolation crystal melting finishing temperature of 100°C to 130°C as measured at a heating rate of 10°C/min in the differential scanning calorimetry and having A hardness of 90 or less in accordance with JIS K6253.SELECTED DRAWING: None
