Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having high graft ratio while preventing the lowering of the molecular weight and the generation of gel caused by graft-polymerization by grafting a monomer having an electrophilic group and an unsaturated group to a polypropylene composition having a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by graft-polymerizing (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polypropylene composition composed of (i) 10-90wt.% of a propylene random copolymer containing a non-conjugated diene comonomer of formula I (R1 and R2 are H or 1-6C alkyl; n is 1-20) (preferably 1,9-decadiene, etc.) and (ii) 90-10wt.% of a propylene random copolymer containing a non- conjugated diene comonomer of formula II (R3 to R8 are H or 1-6C alkyl; at least one of R3, R4, R7 and R8 is 1-6C alkyl) (preferably 1,4-hexadiene, etc.) with (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a monomer having electrophilic group as well as unsaturated bond (preferably maleic anhydride, etc.).
